Our laws
Best-in-class and hard to find
We stock products from makers and artists who care more about their craft than they do maximising profits. This means that most of the items you buy from us are not widely available. Our range will always be limited, too. We try to hit the sweet spot between choice and overwhelm, partly because products that meet our standards are hard to find and partly in recognition of the experience of our neurodiverse and generally stressed customers. Decision fatigue is real. We update our stock regularly to mix things up.
Supporting artists
Few things can rival beauty when it comes to life enrichment. Analogue Outlaw’s ranch is nested in the middle of a phenomenal community of talented expressives and we’re proud to celebrate their awesomeness in our space. Their work is showcased in a separate space to our shop (look for the Gallery) - and sometimes they produce prints or other commercial pieces, too.
Low plastic and miles
We do not dropship unless it’s from a UK vendor that we've made an individual arrangement with (we’re analogue like that). Plastic has its place (we like to be inclusive) – but it does make us uncomfortable. Most of the products we sell are low plastic and by that we mean they aren’t often made with plastic but there may be some in the packaging. Our own packaging is 98% plastic free and recyclable. We also mostly buy from British brands, except where we cannot otherwise achieve the right quality/ aesthetic paradigm.
Inclusively ‘extra’
This one’s personal. Every social group has a lot in common with others when it comes to the things we need and want in our lives… but sometimes there’s a little extra layering needed to better represent minority preferences and lifestyles.
